About This Spot

Perched atop the Crowne Plaza in North Augusta, Jackson’s Bluff offers a rooftop escape where the city’s rhythm softens into a warm, inviting buzz. As you step onto the open-air patio, the gentle flow of the Savannah River spreads below, serving as a quiet, ever-present companion to the evening’s unfolding moments. The air feels at once celebratory and relaxed, a canvas where conversations blend easily with the backdrop of twinkling lights and unfolding sunset hues.

The crowd here is a textured mix — locals unwinding after work, couples savoring the view, groups sharing laughter and stories. There’s a casual comfort to the space where dress codes dissolve and moments slow, allowing for genuine human connections to take shape. Whether you’re seated at the bar or mingling near the railing, Jackson’s Bluff invites you to settle in and savor the simple pleasure of good company and thoughtfully crafted drinks.

On the menu, familiar favorites come alive with a quiet sophistication — a perfectly balanced Bloody Mary or a bright, refreshing Matt’s Margarita offers more than refreshment, serving as an extension of the easygoing atmosphere. Light bites, like a fresh Cobb salad with salmon, match the tone: unpretentious yet satisfying, pairing well with the skyline view and the ebb of passing conversation.

Service here feels personal without intruding, a subtle rhythm of attentiveness that adds to the ease. It’s the kind of place where a good bartender remembers your name and your preferred drink, yet won’t rush you through the experience. Even as the evening grows lively, the vibe remains a gentle mix of Southern charm and spirited camaraderie — a rooftop retreat that feels both familiar and a little special.

I don’t normally leave reviews , but I wanted to acknowledge the great service from Jason. He was very attentive , consistently checked in to make sure things were going good with our visit. The food and drinks were amazing. I enjoyed my experience (two nights in a row). The staff played a major part in why my friends and I had such a great time.

Fantastic service and great food! Tyson was exceptional in customer service and overall an outstanding person. I recommend this place to everyone looking for a rooftop experience like no other.

Great vibe! Food was pretty good and service was thorough and efficient. We hung out after eating downstairs. It was easy to find, parking free first 2 hours in the garage, and never free in the evening. No dress code and great NA views!

Cool rooftop top bar on the top of the Crowne Plaza. A little disappointed in the service. Bartender seemed more interested in her appearance and talking with some guy than acknowledging us for a few minutes. Only one beer on draft which was also a let down. Somewhat pricey in beer especially since they were all bottles and can. View of the river was nice and it wasn't crowded. Only stayed for one drink. Recommend coming for the view but you may have to wait for service if it's like anything we experienced.

After dinner at Salt & Marrow Kitchen, my husband and I headed up to Jackson’s Bluff, the rooftop bar at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta, and it was exactly the vibe we were looking for! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming... a perfect blend of celebration and Southern charm. It was a mixed crowd: professionals both young and seasoned, a few cigar enthusiasts, and plenty of people simply out to enjoy the night. The DJ kept the energy high with a seamless mix of old-school classics and current hits, and the dance floor stayed busy. The bartenders were a vibe... friendly, fun, and clearly enjoying what they do. We sat right at the bar, enjoyed great drinks, and soaked in the atmosphere. All in all, Jackson’s Bluff is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Five stars, no question about it!

I recently visited Jackson's Bluff, the rooftop bar located atop Salt & Marrow, with some friends and had an amazing time. The views from the rooftop are nice, especially at sunset. We enjoyed taking in the scenery and sipping on some delicious drinks. Our bartender, Tyler, was friendly and helpful, and he made sure we had everything we needed, including two bottles of Prosecco and some tasty mixed drinks. One thing to note is that outside food and drinks are not permitted at Jackson's Bluff. However, the location is conveniently located within a few minutes of several great dining options, such as Rio Cantina and Southbound Smokehouse. If you're looking for even more dining options, there are several more options just across the river in Augusta, which is just a short drive away. Overall, I highly recommend Jackson's Bluff for anyone looking for a fun and memorable rooftop bar experience. If you're in the area, be sure to add this spot to your must-visit list!

We went here for Continental Breakfast with a View. We did the Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar option. Shannon was wonderful and accommodating. Ruth and Rekel were so helpful. The rooftop bar is so nice, it's covered and has fans to beat the heat. The only thing that would be better is if it started a little later, maybe 9-12 or 10-1.
